Click here for daily readings Mary’s message at Fatima, and wherever she appears, is foreshadowed in today’s Gospel. A woman calls out a blessing to Jesus’ mother after hearing him teach. In return, Jesus states, “…blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.” This becomes Mary’s message to us throughout the ages: listen, believe and be faithful. Mary’s message at Fatima is relatively simple. As complex and overwhelming as the problems of the world appear, they are, at their core, spiritual.
