How can unfulfilling work or retirement bring us meaning and joy? We have a covenantal relationship with God. All work is part of the process of redemption. We bring the sacred to the most secular situations. Work can be an effective witness that evangelizes not by word of mouth but by example.         ~ Fr. Matt

We are challenged to believe that Jesus continues to rout out the evils of our present age namely poverty, sickness, greed, hatred, indifference, overindulgence, etc.  His ministry becomes our own.  I believe Lord, help my unbelief.        ~ Fr. Matt

Our environment is consumed with money, our culture with political affiliation, our world with nationalism, our scene with entertainment and marketing.  We are baptized into Christ Jesus and not to any of the above.     ~ Fr. Matt
